TABLE SHARING

Thyme Out is involved in the ‘Happy to Share’ Scheme.

Funded by Recovery Devon, this project hopes to reduce loneliness by encouraging people to share tables in our cafe leading to conversation and friendships.  You can display the Happy To Share card we have on the tables by standing it up so it tells people that you welcome them sitting with you and having a chat. There are many reasons to be on your own, travelling on business, visiting from abroad, new to the area… The Happy cards are a gentle way to reach out. In this small way we reduce isolation, help people connect and nurture a stronger sense of community.
